How to write better ChatGPT prompts (without a mega-prompt)

    Summarise, draft, or critique — pick one. Chain steps instead of asking for a novel that also “sounds like a CEO.”

    List prices, dates, and names that must stay true. Tell it to write TBD rather than invent commercials or owners.

    State the output shape

    Bullets, email, one-pager, checklist — say the format and approximate length. Models guess when you do not.

    Always run an edit pass

    Read for invented detail and your voice. The prompt is a first draft machine, not a send button.
